The game Following The Traces of Sedad Hakkı Eldem in Istanbul offers a virtual reality experience. Inspired by real places in Istanbul.

Reference

During the creation of the concept idea, the main reference was the Atatürk Library, Ceylan Apartment and Taşlik Coffee House. General mechanics in the game were the core inspirations for our concept.

This research project funded by Bahçeşehir University and created by collaborative work between Bahçeşehir University Game Design Department and Architecture Department. 

• İstanbul is multicultural ancient city which has a rich architectural background but even today we are not totally aware of it. 
• We are passing by those buildings and sites every day, but not seeing them and understanding the values behind them.
• Because of this alienation, we don’t feel belonging to the city. 
• With this university funded research project, we’ve tried to evoke awareness for those kinds of special and spatial cultural heritage artefacts.
